Friction

Generally, friction in your workout is a bad thing. Not only can it mean that you have to fight against a force that is lowering your performance, but it can mean painful problems in places common to chaffing.
Nevertheless, VPX has designed Friction, a pre-workout supplement, to add fire in places other than your undercarriage.
In fact Friction is supposed to increase your energy levels as well as the amount of power and focus that you have, allowing you to get more and more out of every workout that you do. So instead of disregarding Friction because it has a less than savory name, we decided to take a closer look at this product to see what it could really do.
Pros
Fortunately, we didn’t see any ingredients in Friction that would be especially dangerous. In fact, VPX takes many opportunities to explain that this product is able to raise your energy levels without any geranium or geranium-related ingredients.
This is definitely something to look for since so many stimulating pre-workout supplements can not only increase your anxiety, but they can also lead to heart problems.
We also saw that Friction has a good amount of Creatine that is able to improve your body’s ability o deliver energy to your muscle tissue. This has been found to give you more endurance as well as more explosive power.
Cons
Unfortunately, there wasn’t much else that stuck out to us in Friction’s formula. We did find a good amount of Phenylethylamine which is a psychoactive drug that has been shown to not only be a stimulant but also increase your sex drive.
Although this definitely sounds like something you’d want to get behind, Phenylethylamine has also been found to be completely destroyed in the first pass of your metabolism, meaning that the harsh acidic environment of the stomach renders it useless.
Instead, Phenylethylamine has to be administered intravenously in order to have its proper psychoactive effects.
We also found a large amount of Beta Alanine, which is an amino acid that is supposed to be able to increase your production of lean muscle mass, however it has been found to be responsible for the metabolism of carbs and fats.
Our Opinion
Even though Friction is on sale, we can’t imagine why you would want to use this pre-workout supplement unless you are in the market for an extremely mediocre way to improve your workout.
