Monster Pump

Monster Pump is a pre-workout supplement that claims to be one of the most effective ways to improve the levels of nitric oxide in your blood stream.

Since nitric oxide is one of the best ways to keep fatigue levels down and energy levels up, we decided to look into Monster Pump to see what it could really offer.

What’s The Hype About Monster Pump?

Monster Pump has a transparent label, which means they let all their potential customers see exactly what is in their product; hiding nothing behind mysterious proprietary blends and patented code names.

This shows us that their parent company, CytoSport, has a lot of confidence in Monster Pump’s formula and that they are very willing to be held responsible for any ingredients that have proven to be less than effective.

Another thing that has spiked attention about Monster Pump on bodybuilding formulas is its exceptionally great taste. With sour apple, blue raspberry, fruit punch and sour grape formulas, there is a taste for every different palate.

Does Monster Pump Live Up To The Hype?

Despite the excitement surrounding this product, we didn’t find it to be that different from other pre-workout supplements of its kind.

In fact, the majority of its ingredients can be found in many other pre-workout supplements, and sometimes for an even cheaper price.

These ingredients Beta-Alanine, L-Carnitine and L-Arginine are all amino acids that have been found to give the body what it needs to repair itself from intense workouts.

However they are nothing special and can not only be found in other supplements, but can also be found in many of the proteins that we eat on a regular basis.

As if this wasn’t enough to discredit Monster Pump, most of its previous users found that they had an upset stomach that was so bad it was harder to workout than without Monster Pump.

Does Monster Pump Have Any Redeeming Qualities?

Although Monster Pump doesn’t seem to be anything above the rest of the competition, it definitely seems like it is at least a mediocre pre-workout supplement.
