Tests in the early 80′s showed that Chrysin could block aromatase activity. Many supplements have justified using Chrysin because of this study. But should they?
The studies validating Chrysin’s effectiveness were conducted under a microscope in a lab. In the 30 years since, there have been no studies to show that Chrysin is effective at lowering estrogen when administered to living organisms. More and more experts are starting to agree that Chrysin has no ability to traverse across certain cell membranes making it essentially powerless.
