Muscle Warfare: MOAB

Muscle Warfare’s MOAB is a nitric oxide producing supplement from the makers of such other creatures as NUKE, and Mini-Gun. A consistently disappointing product line, we hoped that maybe, just maybe, Moab would be different. Does it stack up?

MOAB has some decent ingredients. Our favorites included: Acetyl-L-Carnitine, an impressive neuro-support amino acid that helps increase mental energy and stamina. We also liked the enzyme blend in the formula. But most of the other ingredients could be improved upon–most of them were the cheaper younger cousins of the scientifically backed stuff you see in a lot of NP Labs and USPLabs’ formulas.

Review

It’s always amazing to us when you find a label that you cannot pick apart to understand. There are so many complex ingredients in this mix that it’s difficult to judge exactly what everything is–or what it’s doing, as most ingredients have a layman term to go along with it. With products like this one you never know what you’re putting into your body, how it works, or if it works. We advise looking elsewhere for pre-workout bliss, particularly with those companies that freely disclose all the ingredients in their mix–and explain how they work. Less is often better.
