Imagine yourself in line at the grocery store. Have you ever noticed those Listerine breath strips that dissolve on your tongue? Now imagine something like that in the form of a testosterone supplement. What you’re imagining is Oral Testibol.
Oral Testibol was designed by Primal Muscle as a unique way to increase your testosterone. According to them, you can experience a Hulk-like surge just by placing a gel strip on your tongue. Do you believe it? We were a bit skeptical ourselves, so we decided to do a little research to see if this testosterone booster actually works.
What Makes Oral Testibol Special?
It’s not often you find a testosterone booster that comes in gel strips. In fact, we’d be hard-pressed to find one besides Oral Testibol. While it is definitely unique that Oral Testibol is consumed by being placed on the tongue, we don’t necessarily think that gives it an advantage.
Since there isn’t any scientific research done using oral gel strips, we have no way of knowing whether of not Oral Testibol even works. All we can do is assume. We do know that oral sprays function more efficiently that capsules because they release their ingredients directly into the blood stream through the lining of the mouth. For this reason, less dosage is required for each ingredient. However, oral sprays have received much criticism, as many skeptics don’t actually believe they work. Whether that is the case is a different story because we aren’t taking about sprays. From what we can gather, it appears these oral gel strips are designed to act in a similar way, being absorbed into the tongue or through the lining of the mouth rather than through the digestive system. However, since this method has never been proven, we can’t actually know if it works.
So while Oral Testibol’s intake method may seem fresh and unique, it’s not necessarily a benefit for you to try. In the end, we just don’t know how effective or efficient it really is.
Supplement Facts
Since we don’t know how effective the method is, we have to focus on what we do know. Or instance, we do know that one strip contains 15.2 mg of a proprietary blend of ingredients designed to increase testosterone and enhance its effects. 15.2 mg is practically nothing, especially when the blend contains ingredients like tribulus terrestris and eurycoma longifolia. These ingredients, along with others in the blend, require high doses in order to show any sort of results. Even if oral strips were proven to be more efficient, we have little faith that such a low dose can actually do anything.
Users are directed to take up to 4 strips per day. There are 2 containers of 28 strips in each package, or 56 total strips. This means that one package, costing upwards of $42, can last as little as 2 weeks. If you were to take the minimum of 2 strips per day, you’d make it a month. That’s a high cost for something that is unproven and will likely last shorter than a month.
Our Recommendation
Oral Testibol is definitely unique, but claiming that you will experience the biggest rush of your life by placing gel strips on your tongue is borderline absurd. Oral Testibol utilizes an unproven method, contains minuscule dosages of active ingredients, and likely won’t even last a full month. There really isn’t any reason to recommend this supplement to you.
