Performance Optimizer
Some diet supplements fail so miserably that they are not longer being produced. Performance Optimizer was once manufactured by Vega Sports, but for some reason was given the axe. Still, you can find Performance Optimizer in stores and on the web so we decided to review it.
Performance Optimizer is designed to boost energy, increase awareness, and enhance your overall workout in the gym. Along with these benefits, the makers of Performance Optimizer claim you will experience less pain and stress and even lose weight by taking their supplement. We are going to take a closer look at Performance Optimizer and help you determine if its right for you.
What’s Unique about Performance Optimizer?
First of all, Performance Optimizer comes in a powder and consumers get to choose between two flavors: lemon lime and acai berry. Users are directed to mix one or more scoops with around two cups of water. Since one container of Performance Optimizer contains enough for 30 scoops, it should last up to one month.
Performance Optimizer is also unique because it contains organic ingredients. This can be beneficial to those who are allergic to gluten, dairy, or soy. Also, since the ingredients in Performance Optimizer are organic, you as a consumer have less risk of side effects.
Now that we know what makes Performance Optimizer special, let’s take a closer look at what’s inside.
Ingredient List
Along with the ingredients listed below, Performance Enhancer contains acai berry, pomegranate, blackberry, and strawberry. Though we don’t know that exact quantity of these ingredients, they may be able to provide antioxidant benefits. Here are the active ingredients listed on the label:
Coconut Oilseed: 500mg
Along with the high volume of minerals like zinc and iron, coconut oilseed is also said to be a high source of protein,
Kombucha Leaf: 500mg
According to some researchers, this natural extract may be able to increase energy, but no official testing has been reported.
Yerba Mate Leaf: 167mg
Yerba mate leaf extract is known for its high antioxidant benefits, but some argue that it can even help reduce weight. However, no official tests have been done to prove that claim.
Green Tea Leaf: 100mg
Many diet supplements contain green tea extract because of its numerous health benefits. Some research suggests that it can also reduce cholesterol and improve heart function.
Rhodiola Root: 100mg
Rhodiola has been used in the past to improve mental awareness, but studies conflict regarding its effects on stimulating energy increases.
Ginseng Root: 100mg
Studies argue that ginseng root can increase energy and libido allowing for a more effective workout.
Devil`s Claw Root: 150mg
Known as an inflammatory agent, devil’s claw root is commonly used to treat arthritis and reduce joint pain.
Turmeric Root: 53mg
No testing has been able to prove the weight loss results of turmeric root, but some suggest it has the ability to stimulate enzymes that break down and digest fats and sugars.
Ginger Root: 10mg
Ginger root may have the ability to lower cholesterol and improve heart function, but studies have yet to prove that.
Does Performance Optimizer Work?
There are two factors to take into effect when determine if Performance Optimizer works or not. First, does it contain proven and powerful ingredients? While Performance Optimizer does contain natural and organic ingredients, they lack in power and effectiveness. Second, you must make sure the ingredients are potent enough to make any difference. Unfortunately, only two ingredients are supplied in doses higher than 167mg, which isn’t going to cut it.
Vega Sports had the right idea in mind when putting together an organic formula. After all, Performance Optimizer does contain safe ingredients. But the effectiveness of this pre workout supplement appears very minimal.
Final Thought
Since Performance Optimizer contains unproven ingredients at such low doses, it’s no wonder Vega Sports decided to halt production of it. Even though you can still find Performance Optimizer in stores and online, we would recommend trying something a little more proven and powerful.
