Pre-Workout Ignition

pre-workout ignition

How likely do you think it is that you would see UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture walking down the Adult Nutrition aisle at WalMart buying a workout supplement?

We didn’t think it was very likely either. That’s why when we saw that Six Star Nutrition promised Pre-Workout Ignition to only be for elite, professional athletes, yet it was sold at WalMart, we thought there might be something fishy about this pre-workout supplement.

But because we appreciate the unbeatable prices of WalMart just as much as the next guy, we decided to research Pre-Workout Ignition a little before we made any snap judgments about this product.

Pros

Six Star Nutrition, the makers of Pre-Workout Ignition, have promised that this product will be able to increase your body’s ability to produce ATP.

ATP, or adenosine triphosphate, is a chemical compound that is used as the simplest form of energy in the body. By increasing your levels of ATP, you will be able to increase your stamina as well as explosive forms of energy.

Six Star Nutrition also promises that Pre-Workout Ignition will be able to increase the amount of Nitric Oxide in your body, thus allowing for vasodilation and better blood flow during workouts.

Because increasing the amount of blood that flows from your heart to your muscles increases the amount of oxygen that goes to your tissues, you can ensure that your body will work aerobically more, meaning less anaerobic buildup of lactic acid, the byproduct that makes your muscles shaky and burn.

Cons

Despite the good approach Six Star Nutrition has taken with Pre-Workout Ignition, we didn’t see anything on this supplement’s ingredient list that suggested it was able to do anything that was promised.

Instead, we saw ingredients like Schisandra Extract that might sound scientific and effective but will do no more for you than your average placebo.

Schisandra Extract is nothing more than an Asian vine that is used to treat mild infections, relieve chronic coughs and fight the feelings of thirst. It has never been used to increase the efficacy of a workout, nor do we think that it is capable of doing that in Pre-Workout Ignition.

Our Opinion

Because we didn’t see enough effective ingredients in Pre-Workout Ignition, we definitely wouldn’t recommend this pre-workout supplement. Any product that is promised to specifically do something within the body and then doesn’t even come close, doesn’t deserve your trust or business.
