Prometheus Rising
Some people have incredibly high expectations when it comes to working out. Many will consume whatever they can to get the muscle gains the Hulk would be proud of. However, these kind of anabolic results aren’t common are likely dangerous.
Prometheus Rising was created by MAN Sports as an anabolic supplement meant to improve your workouts and increase lean muscle gains. According to the makers of Prometheus Rising, their product will reduce fat, while increasing muscle growth and recovery. We decided to do our own research to determine just how effective this workout supplement is.
Clinical Studies
It’s important to look at each ingredient and determine what clinical studies, if any, have been done on them. If an ingredient doesn’t have a clinical trial to back it up, you may want to think twice about purchasing that product. Here is a quick rundown of each ingredient found in Prometheus Rising and the clinical trials to back them up.
Agmatine
Agmatine is a relatively new ingredient on the market and is set to take the place of its sister ingredient, Arginine. In fact, Agmatine is simply a byproduct of Arginine and can be compared in many ways. Some animal studies have been done using Agmatine showing an increase in LH levels, which leads to increased testosterone. While studies are ongoing, many claim this ingredient to be ‘holy grail’ of muscle building.
D-Aspartic Acid
A few studies have been done using DAA, showing its testosterone boosting capabilities. However, many are skeptical of its potency since the studies required substantial doses in order to get any results. MAN Sports was aware of these concerns when they included 3 full grams of DAA in on serving of Prometheus Rising.
Coleus Forskohlii
Coleus Forskohlii contains Forskolin, which is what has undergone some testing. A 2005 study suggests that Forskolin can increase testosterone by around 33%, but more importantly can produce lean muscle gains.
R-Alpha-Lipoic-Acid
Since ALA doesn’t actually contribute directly to muscle growth or gym performance, there aren’t any studies that suggest this. However, some research does suggest that ALA can provide antioxidant activity to the body and protect against free radicals.
Consumer Reviews
Just as important as lab testing are consumer reviews because they give us a chance to read real feedback from people who have actually tried the product.
While it appears that a majority of users didn’t actually experience major hormone growth, the results are still impressive. Many users experienced greater libido, energy, and improved gym performance. Also, the end result for most was a leaner body. However, if you are looking for major anabolic results, this formula may not be what you are looking for. According to the consumer reviews we found, users are likely to experience improved workout performance and modest lean muscle gains.
Price
Prometheus Rising retails for around $65, which places this supplement on the high end of the market. However, you can find a bottle of Prometheus Rising for as little as $30, which is average.
Conclusion
While you may not look like Captain America after taking Prometheus Rising, it appears to be a consistent and solid workout supplement that will produce lean muscle gains and improved workout performance. We don’t have any problem recommending this supplement to you.
